About OSHANA

A Triangle Business Journal 40 under 40 award recipient, Oshana is a polished, relatable consultant. Her passion is providing strategic oversight and vision while ensuring regulatory and mission-driven outcomes are met. She is an experienced, knowledgeable, approachable, and ethical trainer.

Oshana is energetic and highly motivated. As a fundraiser and nonprofit executive of over 20 years, she has raised millions of dollars from local, corporate, foundation, and federal funders.

For twenty years, she served Wake Enterprises, a nonprofit organization providing services to people with disabilities. She wore numerous roles in the agency, from development to human resources to administration to Executive Director.

As a detail-oriented collaborator, Oshana recognizes the benefits of making space for others to share their diverse viewpoints and experiences. She has instituted performance-based management, which improves operations efficiency, financial infrastructure, and reporting frameworks. She has managed budgets, developed and executed marketing plans, authored policies, manuals, and newsletters, trained and hired scores of employees,  implemented practices that value the whole person, and created and implemented strategic plans.

Combining her experiences and service leadership to affect positive change, she is a steadfast ambassador for the organizations she represents.

She earned her Master’s in Public Administration from North Carolina State University (NCSU) and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communications Studies and African American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Oshana holds a certification in Nonprofit Management from NCSU and completed Performance Measurement for Effective Management of Nonprofits from the Harvard Kennedy School. She is a Past President of the Triangle Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and served on the Board of Directors of the NC Association of Rehabilitation Facilities and the Governor-Appointed NC Statewide Independent Living Council.

Oshana lives in  North Carolina with her husband, Duane, and daughter Vivienne.
